Response to Intervention
(RtI)
Response to Intervention, also referred to as RtI, is a process where a team of education professionals sit down every 6-8 weeks to look at student performance and evaluate their academic or behavioral needs. This process is to ensure all students receive the help they need to be successful in school. This may include providing an intervention to target a certain academic skills for reading or math OR implementing a behavior plan to help the student make better choices. The RtI team consists of:
